Stop-motion animation, robot programming and music video production are among the hands-on activities at the Children's Creativity Museum, where children make their own media rather than simply looking at displays. Its interactive exhibits and workshops also include design challenges, art projects and other creative work.
The museum is designed for children aged 2 to 12, which makes it best suited to families with young children. It is in Yerba Buena Gardens in San Francisco and is run as a nonprofit organization with funding from the city. It draws around 100,000 visitors a year.
