Art, stamps and coins, books, personal papers and memorabilia, all gathered by one man, Jorge B. Vargas, who bequeathed them to the University of the Philippines, make up the collection of the Jorge B. Vargas Museum and Filipiniana Research Center. It is commonly known as the UP Vargas Museum and stands on the university's Diliman campus in Quezon City, where the UP Diliman College of Arts and Letters manages it. Alongside the art, the Vargas library and papers form a research center for Filipiniana, the term for materials about the Philippines.
