The Museum of Modern Art is an art museum in Midtown Manhattan, New York City, on 53rd Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues. Its collection covers the late 19th century to the present, including architecture, design, painting, sculpture, photography and film. It was conceived in 1929 by a group of founders that included Abby Aldrich Rockefeller.
