The Porsche Museum stands on the carmaker's own site in Stuttgart's Zuffenhausen district, making it a museum about Porsche on Porsche ground. Its building is the work of the architects Delugan Meissl.
Founded in 1976, it is the second most visited museum in Stuttgart after the Mercedes-Benz Museum, with about 450,000 visitors in 2015.
