Lace, a traditional craft in Belgium since the 15th century, is the focus of the collections at the Fashion & Lace Museum (Musée Mode & Dentelle in French, Mode & Kant Museum in Dutch). Founded in 1977 in central Brussels, it is a museum of textiles and fashion and was formerly known as the Museum of Costume and Lace.
