Madatech is Israel's national museum of science, technology and space, a title reflected in its full Hebrew name, MadaTek – HaMuze'on HaLe'umi LeMada, Tekhnologya VeHalal. It occupies a building designed by the architect Alexander Baerwald in Haifa and was founded as a museum in 1983. Today it draws around 400,000 visitors a year.
