Built on the site of a former garden behind the Tempel Synagogue, the Jewish Community Centre of Kraków (Centrum Społeczności Żydowskiej w Krakowie) opened in 2008 as the result of an initiative by the Prince of Wales. It is a secular cultural and educational centre on ul. Miodowa in the Kazimierz district, and its building abuts its neighbour.
The centre is separate from the official Jewish Community of Kraków (Gmina Wyznaniowa Żydowska w Krakowie), whose existence is traced back to the 14th century and which owns the city's pre-war Jewish buildings. The centre leases its site from that community.
