Bones and bone art fill the Museum of Natural Mystery, a private collection created by mural artist and sculptor Bruce Mahalski inside his own residence on Royal Terrace in Dunedin. Alongside the skeletal material and Mahalski's bone artworks, the museum displays ethnographic artefacts and assorted curios. It has been open to the public since March 2018.
