The Potocki Palace, a monument of early 19th-century architecture, has housed the Odesa Fine Arts Museum since its founding in 1899. Also known as the Odesa National Art Museum (Одеський національний художній музей), it is one of the principal art galleries in Odesa.
The collection numbers more than ten thousand works. Among them are paintings by some of the best-known Russian and Ukrainian artists of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, which makes the museum a natural stop for anyone interested in painting from that period.
