The Holocaust Museum in Odesa is the first museum in Ukraine devoted to the genocide of the Jewish population in Transnistria Governorate. This was the territory placed under Romanian jurisdiction from 1941 to 1943, covering occupied Odesa, Mykolaiv and part of Vinnytsia Oblast.
Its full name, which visitors may see in Ukrainian, is Museum of the Holocaust – Victims of Fascism (Музей Голокосту – жертв фашизму). Founded in 2009, it is a non-state museum rather than a government institution.
