Photographs and objects connected with the 1928 Youth Pledge (Sumpah Pemuda) form the core of the Youth Pledge Museum, known on signs as Museum Sumpah Pemuda. The museum is devoted to the history of the independence struggle of the Republic of Indonesia. Alongside material on the pledge itself, its collection documents the activities of the Indonesian national youth movement.
The museum stands at Jalan Kramat Raya No. 106 in Central Jakarta and is managed by the Ministry of Culture. It was established under a 1972 decree of the governor of the Special Administrative Region of Jakarta and is recognised as a national heritage object.
