Walk-in aviaries are at the centre of Bird Paradise. There are twice as many as at the Jurong Bird Park it replaced, and they are larger. Opened on 8 May 2023, the bird park covers about 17 hectares in Mandai and was designed by the Singaporean architectural firm RSP Architects Planners & Engineers.
Bird Paradise is part of the Mandai Wildlife Reserve, which also includes the Singapore Zoo, Night Safari, River Wonders and Rainforest Wild ASIA.
