A sixteenth-century house that began as a wine tavern is now home to Choco-Story, the Chocolate Museum of Bruges (Chocolademuseum Choco-Story). The building, Huis de Crone, stands on Sint-Jansplein in central Bruges, where Wijnzakstraat meets Sint-Jansstraat. It later held a bakery and then a furniture-making shop before becoming a museum devoted to chocolate.
Visitors can watch chocolate being made, and one section of the museum looks at chocolate's health benefits. Choco-Story was opened by Eddy Van Belle and his son Cédric, who also own Belcolade, a family chocolate business.
