A former coffeehouse that began life as a dairy farm houses the Eduardo Sívori Museum of Plastic Arts (Museo de Artes Plásticas Eduardo Sívori), set within Parque Tres de Febrero in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires. The museum has occupied this park building since 1995.
Run by the city, the museum holds a collection estimated at around 4,000 works of art. It takes its name from the painter Eduardo Sívori and first opened in 1938, decades before moving to its current home. It welcomes roughly 46,000 visitors a year.
