Canada's film research collection occupies the fourth floor of TIFF Bell Lightbox, a cultural centre in Toronto. The Film Reference Library holds film prints alongside books, periodicals, scripts, research files, movies and press kits.
The library is affiliated with the International Federation of Film Archives (FIAF). It collects, preserves and provides access to its holdings to support the study of both Canadian and international cinema. It serves students, filmmakers, scholars and journalists, so it best suits visitors with a research interest in film.
