Fotografiska, Swedish for "photographic", began in Stockholm in 2010 and has since grown into an international network of museums for photography and art, with further locations in Tallinn, Berlin and Shanghai.
Rather than a permanent collection on display, the museum presents a rotating program of temporary exhibitions by both established and emerging photographers, some of which travel between its locations around the world. Food, a shop and a cultural program accompany the exhibitions. It suits visitors interested in photography, from well-known names to newer artists.
