The Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum (מוזיאון ההעפלה וחיל הים ע"ש דוד הכהן) tells Israel's maritime history in two linked chapters. It begins with clandestine immigration during the British Mandate for Palestine and continues with the history of the Israeli navy from its inception. It is a technical history museum and suits visitors interested in naval and military history.
The museum is named after David HaCohen, one of the leaders of the Jewish Yishuv. Colonel Yoske Coral established it, and it opened to the public in 1969. Israel's Ministry of Defense runs it. It stands next to the Israeli National Maritime Museum, which covers maritime history and archaeology, so the two are easy to see together.
