Latvian Ethnographic Open Air Museum

On the lightly wooded shores of Jugla Lake, just outside Riga, the Ethnographic Open-Air Museum of Latvia (Latvijas Etnogrāfiskais brīvdabas muzejs) presents the country's ethnography outdoors rather than in a conventional gallery building. Founded in 1924, it holds a collection of more than 150,000 items.
