The flat where the Ukrainian writer Pavlo Tychyna lived from 1944 to 1967 is kept as he knew it, with its rooms preserved and furnished only with the poet's own belongings. Officially it is the Literary and Memorial Museum of Pavlo Tychyna, in Ukrainian Літературно-меморіальний музей-квартира П. Г. Тичини.
Visitors move through the domestic spaces of the apartment, including his study and dining room. The centrepiece is the poet's library of more than 20,000 books. The interiors reflect the period in which Tychyna lived and show his way of life and his interests, making this a house museum rather than a conventional gallery of displays.
Alongside the memorial rooms, the museum holds exhibitions and organises cultural and memorial events. It suits visitors with an interest in Tychyna, Ukrainian literature, or the everyday surroundings of a writer's working life.
