Built in 1846, Flagstaff House is the oldest example of colonial architecture remaining in Hong Kong, and it is a declared monument. It stands at 10 Cotton Tree Drive in Central, within Hong Kong Park.
During the colonial era the house was for a long time the residence of the Commander of the British forces in Hong Kong. Since 1984 it has been a museum, and today it is home to the Flagstaff House Museum of Tea Ware, which suits visitors interested in both historic architecture and tea ware.
