Four students shot on May 12, 1998 are at the centre of the Trisakti Museum, also known as the May 12 Tragedy Museum. This human rights museum in West Jakarta documents the active role of students at Trisakti University in fighting for democracy and human rights, and gives a brief account of the four who died.
The displays combine short written articles with a collection of newspaper reports, demonstration photographs, ornaments, and portraits of the students who were killed, along with their personal relics.
