The Geological Museum (Geologisk Museum) stands at the northeast corner of the Copenhagen Botanical Garden, on Øster Voldgade. It was once a separate museum and is now part of the Natural History Museum of Denmark, but it has kept both its location and its main geology exhibits.
Besides housing displays, the museum supports research and study as part of the University of Copenhagen, and some of its staff take part in research around the world.
