Founded in 1950, the Museum of Theatrical Arts of Serbia (Muzej pozorišne umetnosti Srbije) in Belgrade is devoted to the theatrical arts of Serbia. Besides its museum collection, it contains a library and a historical archive.
The library holds pieces of scenography, the design of stage sets, together with historical pictures and paintings. This makes the museum best suited to visitors with an interest in theatre and stage design. The museum is listed as Immovable Cultural Heritage of Great Importance, one of Serbia's heritage designations.
